Off to College! … I mean, university.

School

Tonight I’m packing up all of my stuff. By Sunday I’ll be moving into my dorm room at the residences at Swinburne university. So will begin my four years of university life.

It’s exciting, and it’s also a bit unsettling. Being a guy who has never spent more than about two weeks in a city, it will be a very different experience. Combine that with the fact that I’ve lived with my parents for all of my life, and the result will be one bumpy ride to life as an independent student.

Hopefully it will all be good! :D

    Oh Ben, I’m on the net now, and you’re NOT HERE x_x
    I’ve unpacked and Canberra is very awsomeness. My room isn’t terribly small. It’s just the whole getting adjusted to living independently. Today I went out to go somewhere, and i was packed in 2 seconds. I looked around my room because it felt like I wasn’t taking enough crap, and I was like “Shit. I don’t actually have a lot of possessions.” And my self image of being really materialistic changed to just being pathetic.
