SATAC Online Uni Application site

This page made me laugh … it’s the SATAC application site, where you go to apply to South Australian universities.

Hello? The 90’s called, they want their web design back! :D

However, the VTAC (Victorian) site isn’t that much better, though they have used Java to provide a functional user interface. There are a few glitches in the UI design as well though, ie. checkboxes being used where radio buttons should be used, etc. But it at least looks a bit more modern than the SATAC one.

    That design isn’t *that* bad… I’ve seen much worse.

    And yeah, the VTAC one is rather bad as well. I was so tempted to tick both “Yes” and “No” for some of the questions :D. But seriously, what crazy UI designer would have a tickbox for “Yes” and another tickbox for “No”?
