The Dell website is stupid!
Heh, I was just configuring up a system on the Dell website, for something to do, and then suddenly came to a realisation that the site is stupid. Why? Well, let’s look at this sequence of screenshots (these are in sequential order):

Right, I’ve selected a TV Tuner. That’s a PCIe card, so it’ll take up the only PCIe slot that is in the system (it was a low-profile system).
Now, the Dell website complains because the modem is a PCI device, and there’s only one slot. Fair enough, but why can’t I remove the modem?! I don’t even want one!
Due to the ”configuration” problem, I couldn’t click next and order the system (not that I was going to anyway). If I were a normal Joe Blow customer, I would be left feeling quite annoyed.
Sometimes, you’ve just got to wonder if people test the websites they create.

LOL, too right I hate tech support websites, they often do very little to give any support, and im quite sure the web publishers have never had the issue and can relate to these pages they publish

Very true… A lot of the time, things like this aren’t tested properly (as you noticed)
Anyways, the *real* problem is the quality of your screenshots

Yes yes
It seems that Windows Live Writer mangled them pretty badly when I copy-pasted them in. I’d reupload better screenshots, but then I’d have to reconfigure another Dell.
