It’s Not Cheating! I swear!
It looks like the true advantage of doing Monash University Enhancement Maths has finally shown: Microsoft have a deal with all the top universities at the moment. They’re offering a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate, usual retail well over a thousand bucks, for only $75. That’s a massive saving, and the result is the excellent Office 2007 UI.
They’ve set up a website which explains everything: www.itsnotcheating.com.au . Among the cheap copies of Office, the site features a man who could be mistaken for Borat, who assures you that this deal isn’t cheating. If you’re a student at any big university, go there and see if your university is part of this offer.
I’m certainly taking Microsoft up on this offer. You’d have to be braindead to pass up a cheap copy of Office 2007, because it’s awesome!

An awesome Microsoft product? That’s crazy talk!
OpenOffice > Microsoft Office
How is your “Enhancement Maths” class, anyways?

If I hadn’t tried Office 2007, I would say OpenOffice is great. But, after using Office 2007, and looking at it’s UI … OpenOffice will need to work hard to equal it.
As for Enhancement Maths, it sucks!
It started off pretty good, but now it’s proving to be a bit challenging. Meh, I’m ploughing through it, sort of.
