Video: I Love Work!
Due to growing interest, I have decided to upload to the web the video I made for Year 12 Media. The video is called I Love Work, and is a filmclip to the Butterfingers song by the same name. It follows the misfortune of John Smith, a man who has a very unfortunate day where he loses his house and his job, and gets two speeding tickets. He then turns his depressing life around and starts to live a life on the dole. There are a few issues with this video regarding sound synchronisation but it’s a fun video nonetheless

Hey there man, I watched your film again and I picked up a few tiny problems. The first time I was too amused to pay any critical attention to it but the second time I noticed I that occasionally I couldn’t make out some of the lyrics of the song. Maybe it’s just the quality of the compressed (7MB) version you sent me over MSN. None the less the film is a work of art!

Hmm, there’s only really one other video production I’ve made: a 10-minute Flash animation about Romeo and Juliet (you’ve seen it
) which would be a bit difficult to get up onto my site, I’d have to pull off quite an impressive compression job to get it to fit nicely on the site. It has quite a few issues regarding sound sync as well, maybe it’s the complexity of the SWF or something but it seems like pausing or exporting it throws the sound out completely, which is quite a bastard as I really want to get it onto DVD, as well as the site

As a fellow student of yours i saw this movie in class and was amazed at its brilliance. I look forward with great anticipation of your next movie… from what i hear its gunna be great!
