Well, I’ve been on holidays so I’ve accumulated a lot of things I want to blog about, so I shall do that now.

Firstly, while I was away on my holiday I bought a PDA: An Acer N50. 520MHz, 128MB RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi, and all the good features. It looks nice too. The only thing bad about it at this stage is that it seems to suffer from a nasty bug which stops the device from powering on, and the only way out of it is to hard-reset, which loses everything. I’m currently planning on sending it back to Acer (they suggested I post it to their repair centre). Meh.

Also, I went to a wedding while I was away (well, that was the whole point of the holiday). It was great, it was on the beach which made it nice, and a lot more interesting than those stereotypical weddings in churches. The reception was great as well, nice food and an excellent latin/funk band. It was fun ^_^

So I was without my computer for a week, so I missed out on Apple announcing the Mac Mini and that iPod sound system thing (the iPod HiFi is it called?) … speaking of Apple, I saw a very interesting article on Digg today about where Apple and Microsoft stand in the fight against each other. Some very interesting concepts there. While indirectly on the topic of Digg, it looks like they updated their commenting system. Nice.

Screenshots of the new UI for Office 2007 were found on the internet recently as well. Damn fine. I want it, however like most mortals I’ll have to wait till they make Beta 2 publically available.

Interesting But Useless Fact #52883: The people who made the opening for The IT Crowd are the same people who made the music video for Junior Senior – Move Your Feet. Nice work Shynola!

Ehm, what else was I going to blog about… oh I can’t remember.
