I found this great article via Digg, it seems to sum up completely how I feel sometimes after someone asks me a tech-related question: I’m a Programmer, Not A Computer Guy!

I put up with similar stuff … I’m often mislabelled by people I know as a general computer guy (even though I’m a bit more into programming and networks and stuff). I love how it talks about the less-educated computer users calling Windows/Office/IE/etc “their Microsoft” … that is unfourtiantley very true that they do that.
